We want you to be satisfied with CraftBee. If you're not happy with our service, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase.

1. Overview

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how you can cancel your CraftBee subscription and request refunds. By subscribing to CraftBee, you agree to this policy.

CraftBee uses Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy Limited) as our Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy is the authorized reseller of our software and handles all payment processing, billing, and refunds on our behalf. When you purchase a subscription, your payment is processed by Lemon Squeezy, and "LEMON SQUEEZY" or "LEMONSQUEEZY.COM" will appear on your bank or credit card statement.

2. Merchant of Record

As our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy acts as the seller of our products. This means:

  • Lemon Squeezy is the Seller: Your purchase contract for the subscription is with Lemon Squeezy, not CraftBee
  • Lemon Squeezy Processes Refunds: All refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy's payment systems
  • Lemon Squeezy Handles Taxes: All subscription charges include applicable Sales Taxes (GST/HST, VAT, etc.) as calculated by Lemon Squeezy
  • Lemon Squeezy's Terms Apply: Refund requests are subject to Lemon Squeezy's Buyer Terms
  • CraftBee Provides the Service: We provide the CraftBee platform and technical support

While we work with Lemon Squeezy to ensure fair treatment of our users, Lemon Squeezy makes final refund decisions as the Merchant of Record in accordance with their terms and applicable law.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time through one of the following methods:

  • Log into your CraftBee account and go to Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription
  • Use the subscription management link in your Lemon Squeezy receipt email
  • Contact Lemon Squeezy directly through their help center
  • Email us at nadasentheolin@gmail.com and we will assist with your cancellation

3.2 Cancellation Timing

When you cancel your subscription:

  • Important: Per Lemon Squeezy's terms, cancellations require at least 48 hours notice before the renewal date to prevent the next billing cycle charge
  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
  • You will continue to have access to all features until the billing period ends
  • No partial refunds are provided for unused time in the current billing period
  • Your credits will remain available until the end of the billing period

3.3 What Happens After Cancellation

Once your subscription ends:

  • Your account will be downgraded to a free plan (if available) or suspended
  • Any unused credits will expire
  • Your generated images and data will be retained for 30 days, after which they may be deleted
  • You can reactivate your subscription at any time by upgrading again

4. Refund Policy

4.1 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for all new subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with CraftBee for any reason, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase.

4.2 Digital Content and Withdrawal Rights

Under Lemon Squeezy's Buyer Terms, once you have accessed or begun using the Service (digital content), you consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal may be affected. Because CraftBee provides immediate access to digital services, your statutory withdrawal rights may not apply once access begins. However, we advocate for the 14-day refund window for first-time subscribers as a matter of customer satisfaction.

4.3 Eligibility for Refunds

You are eligible for a refund if:

  • You request the refund within 14 days of your initial purchase
  • You have not violated our Terms of Service
  • You have not initiated a chargeback with your bank or credit card company

As the seller, Lemon Squeezy has the right to approve or deny refund requests at their discretion in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

4.4 Renewal Payments

Renewal payments (second month onwards) are generally non-refundable. However, Lemon Squeezy may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis if:

  • You were charged in error due to a billing system malfunction
  • You were charged after cancelling your subscription at least 48 hours before the renewal date
  • There are exceptional circumstances required by law
  • Lemon Squeezy determines, in their sole discretion, that the circumstances warrant a refund

4.5 Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will generally not be issued in the following cases:

  • Requests made after the 14-day refund period for initial purchases
  • Partial months or unused credits after the refund period
  • If you have already used a significant portion of your credits
  • If your account has been terminated due to Terms of Service violations
  • Purchases made using fraudulent payment methods
  • Refund requests suspected of fraud or refund abuse

4.6 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, you have two options:

Option 1: Contact CraftBee (Recommended)

  1. Send an email to nadasentheolin@gmail.com with "Refund Request" in the subject line
  2. Include your account email address and the reason for your refund request
  3. Provide the date of the charge you wish to have refunded
  4. We will review your request and coordinate with Lemon Squeezy to process approved refunds
  5. You will receive a response within 2-3 business days

Option 2: Contact Lemon Squeezy Directly

  1. Locate your purchase receipt email from Lemon Squeezy
  2. Use the subscription management link in the email or visit lemonsqueezy.com/help
  3. Submit a refund request directly to Lemon Squeezy
  4. Lemon Squeezy will review and respond to your request

5. Refund Processing

If your refund is approved by Lemon Squeezy:

  • Processing Method: Refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy through their payment systems
  • Original Payment Method: The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase
  • Processing Time: Refunds typically take 5-10 business days to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution
  • Confirmation: You will receive email confirmation from Lemon Squeezy once the refund has been processed
  • Service Access: Your premium features will be suspended immediately upon refund approval
  • Tax Refunds: Any applicable taxes (GST/HST, VAT, Sales Tax) will be refunded along with the subscription price

6. Recurring Billing

CraftBee operates on a subscription basis with recurring billing processed by Lemon Squeezy:

  • Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing cycle
  • You will be charged the subscription fee on the same date each month
  • You will receive an email receipt from Lemon Squeezy for each payment
  • If payment fails, Lemon Squeezy will attempt to retry the charge. If unsuccessful, your subscription may be suspended
  • All prices include applicable taxes as calculated by Lemon Squeezy based on your jurisdiction

7. Chargebacks

You agree to contact us or Lemon Squeezy prior to raising a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer. If you dispute a legitimate charge by raising a chargeback without merit or legitimate reason (as determined at Lemon Squeezy's sole discretion), whether fraudulently or otherwise, Lemon Squeezy reserves the right to prohibit you from purchasing further products or to charge liquidated damages of $100 USD per incident, as specified in their Buyer Terms.

8. Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. If you have a unique situation that you believe warrants special consideration, please contact us. Examples of circumstances we may consider include:

  • Medical emergencies or health-related issues
  • Technical problems that prevented Service access despite our support efforts
  • Billing errors or system malfunctions
  • Other extraordinary circumstances beyond your control

While we cannot guarantee a refund outside of our standard policy, we will review each request on a case-by-case basis and strive to find a fair resolution. Ultimate refund authority rests with Lemon Squeezy as the Merchant of Record.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund and Cancellation Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers via email at least 14 days in advance.
